Artist Reflection 

For this week I continued to develop my work. I started to add further detail with a dip pen along with further developing my landscape piece. I also discussed the idea of have some areas meant to be left in the background as only washes of ink with minimal detail to help push the composition and area of focus. I will explore that idea next week while I finish them.

Artist Reflection 

This week I continued adding details to the large piece with graphite pencil to create a framework to work from when I start inking it. I also added washes of ink to the smaller pieces to get them ready to ink the finer details with pen. For next week I want to continue much the same way I did this week and make progress on both. I discussed during class starting to add ink to the large piece, along with a sketch of the other one.

Artist reflection 

For this week I wanted to focus on starting to make a final sketch for the larger image, I chose the center one to start with. I also begun adding further washes and details to the smaller animal pieces. during class we discussed the larger pieces as a whole and how they would be laid out in the CEA museum and how they could cover the corner by folding the center one down the middle so the right and left pieces could be each wall respectively. Next I am going to focus on much the same as this week, which is adding to both pieces.
