Serenity. Patience.

Negative Space
This piece is a wood engraving on paper and uses negative space to create the form of a whale’s tale peaking above the water by the white marks surrounding it. The artist carved the white marks leaving the area of the tale negative to create the familiar shape.

Horizontal line
This drawing is placed in a horizontal line on the canvas and is depicting a view of the horizon line of the ocean.

A Few of My Favorite Things

1. Golf ball. Golf is one of my main passions in life and is something I aspire to do professionally. I don’t know what my life would look like without golf.

2. Book. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I love nothing more than getting completely immersed in a great book, and I often find myself unable to put one I love down without finishing it.

3. Apple Pencil. Art is another passion of mine, and my favorite medium to work in is digital. I would love nothing more than to get a job working in digital art, specifically within animation. I find myself always drawing on my iPad in Procreate and it was what I first started drawing digitally in.

4. Streamsong ball marker. My favorite golf course is Streamsong, and I have a lot of great memories associated with playing there. I collect ball markers of all the courses I play and my Streamsong one is my favorite. I always wear it on my hat whenever I play golf.

5. Game controller. Another big hobby of mine is playing video games. I grew up playing them on various consoles, and I have a lot of great memories playing them with my brother.

6. Earbuds. It is rare to see we without an earbud in my ear as I love listening to music whenever I can.
